"YOU GUYS THE BASEMENT IS FLOODING!"
Fuck...
A pipe burst in the heated floors in the sun-room, which none of us knew we had. The tiles in the sun-room came off the ground and the water was rushing out from underneath very fast. The aftermath is Lisa's bedroom in the living room, Jill's bedroom in the dining room and a serious stink throughout the house.
The cleanup began at 11PM yesterday. It was funny at first, then it got really tiring.
Now I cannot wait to be out of this house. Seems the plan may be to move back to mom & dads, which will seriously cripple my summer because of the location, but I have to save up some big cash for the big move in the fall.

good/bad

Thanks to a tip, I scored today at Liquidation World of all places. They have 4 racks of 75% off Urban Outfitters clothes that were salvaged from a fire apparently. You have to dig, but I dug and it was worth it.
A letter in the mail today addressed to me from the University informed me that I will in-fact, NOT be graduating this spring. Due to 1.5 credit hours being uncountable? So I guess it's back to the books this spring, one last time, to graduate in the fall. Dang. Oh, well.
I took my car in today to get something fixed and got a 'shuttle' ride home from the dealership. It was an odd ride. A mini-van full of adults getting a ride from an older man. I smiled.

I hate Winnipeg. But I love my friends.

Dark Was the Night

Tonight, I will have a very Winnipeg winter party. This means, black tights, the Pyramid, a cab and gin. Too much gin.

I seriously cannot stop listening to "Dark Was the Night". Over and over, disc 1 then disc 2. Sooooooo good!

#1

A blog. I've never really had the urge to blog until recently. So, I'll begin now.
I'm lying in my bed at home, in the Campbell house, very comfortably. Soon, this won't be home though... we're out May 1st. Big choices to make about where to live. I am ready for change. Positive change.
I just arrived home today from a wonderful 5 days in Vancouver. I stayed with my brother in East Van, but sadly, didn't get to spend much time with him. My time was filled with friends, both old and new, walking (and busing) all around, meeting family and dreaming of what life could be like in a new city. Now it is back to reality. I have to get groceries, clean my room and back to work tomorrow.
I got a moleskine planner for half price. I've been looking for a planner for the last 2 months but they are quite hard to find after January 1.

"Moleskine is the legendary notebook used by European artists and thinkers for the past two centuries, from Van Gogh to Picasso, from Ernest Hemmingway to Bruce Chatwin. This trusty, pocket-sized travel companion held sketches, notes, stories and ideas before they were turned into famous images or pages of beloved books."

I'm not sure that my will hold anything that is turned iconic. Besides, I already ruined 3 days by writing in it with a red sharpie after too much Tenqueray.
